Welcome to the Muncie Public Library’s Document Your Eats: Quarantine Cuisine Recipe Submission Page.
These are unprecedented times and future historians will want to know how our community spent their time. What was the experience of the local community during this global pandemic?
During these strange times of COVID-19 Quarantine, we have had to adjust our daily routines. Many restaurants were closed during this time and there were even food shortages for a while. Many of us have found ourselves cooking and baking at home more than usual. Others of us found this to be a time to be creative in the kitchen.
The Muncie Public Library would like to collect recipes from the community that were prepared during this time. We will compile these recipes into a cookbook and make it available on BiblioBoard. Not only will this create a place to share what we have been cooking during the COVID-19 pandemic but people will be able to look back on this time and see how we fed our families.
Below you will find more information on how to submit your recipes and be a part of this community cookbook.
The final cookbook will be added to the Muncie Public Library's "Document Your Story: COVID-19 Pandemic Project Archive".
Submitting Your Digital Content
It is free to submit your recipes. The submission process will only take about 10 minutes to complete. You are welcome to submit as many recipes as you would like. The recipes you submit can be typed or handwritten. We would also like to see photos of your kitchen creations along with any stories that might accompany your recipe.
You may use the submission page below or contact us through Muncie Public Library's online contact form. We would be happy to help you with recipes that are not digital.
